International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE)  The International Foundation for Gender Education (IFGE), founded in 1987, is a leading advocate and educational organization for promoting the self-definition and free expression of individual gender identity. IFGE is not a support group, it is an information provider and clearinghouse for referrals about all things which are transgressive of established social gender norms.

Lesbian and Gay Immigration Rights Task Force  The Lesbian and Gay Immigration Rights Task Force, Inc. is a non-profit organization addressing the widespread discriminatory impact of immigration laws on the lives of lesbians, gay men and people with HIV through education, outreach, advocacy and the maintenance of a nationwide resource and support network.

Lesbian.Com  Lesbian.com is a journey.. an evolution that began when Sue was sitting at her desk in 1995 and had the (some say) brilliant insight to register the domain name Lesbian.com. Her intent was to protect the domain from the radical right and perhaps mostly because she thought the web would be an excellent avenue for dykes around the world to connect and network.

Lesbian.Org   Dedicated to promoting lesbian visibility on the internet, this site offers many links and resources dealing with lesbian issues and interests.

National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR)  NCLR is the nation's legal center with a primary commitment to advancing the rights and safety of lesbians and their families through a program of litigation, public policy advocacy, free legal advice and counseling, and public education. In addition, NCLR provides representation and resources to gay men, and bisexual and transgendered individuals on key issues that also significantly advance lesbian rights.

National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF)  The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom engages in national advocacy on issues related to sexual identity, expression and orientation by participating in the development of public policy and by supporting positive media presentations of diverse sexual practices. NCSF is a voluntary, not-for-profit association that offers a free membership to individuals and organizations who support the rights of adults to engage in safe, sane and consensual sexual expression.

National Gay and Lesbian Task Force --NGLTF is the front line activist organization in the national gay and lesbian movement. As such, it serves as the national resource center for grassroots lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender organizations that are facing a variety of battles at the state and local level -- such as combating anti-gay violence,battling Radical Right anti-gay legislative and ballot measures, advocating an end to job discrimination, working to repeal sodomy laws, demanding an effective governmental response to HIV and reform of the health care system and much more.

Q World: Your Interactive LGBT Community  If it's gay or lesbian news and services you're after, look no further than Qworld. In addition to links to several little-known 'zines (including "A Dyke's World" and "Visibilities"), you'll find message boards, regional resources, and a QMall, complete with books, clothing, and jewelry. Especially interesting are the QFiles, which offer everything from health information to shareware. Click on Queer History here, and you'll find background on the rainbow flag, pink triangle, lambda symbol, and slogans. Lots of links to other gay-related pages, including entertainment, health, community, and youth sites.

Queer Resources Directory  The QRD (short for Queer Resources Directory) is an electronic library with news clippings, political contact information, newsletters, essays, images, hyperlinks, and every other kind of information resource of interest to the GLBO community. Information is stored for the use of casual network users and serious researchers alike.

Sexual Orientation: Science, Education, and Policy  This site features work by Dr. Gregory Herek — a noted authority on sexual prejudice (or homophobia), hate crimes, and AIDS stigma — and his Northern California Community Research Group at the University of California, Davis. It provides factual information about sexual orientation and HIV/AIDS to promote the use of scientific knowledge for education and enlightened public policy.

Transgender Tapestry Magazine Transgender Tapestry is a publication by, for, and about all things trans, including crossdressing, transsexualism, intersexuality, FTM, MTF, butch, femme, drag kings and drag queens, androgyny, female and male impersonation, and more.

Visibilities: The On-Line Lesbian Magazine  Visibilities, The On-Line Lesbian Magazine, had its origin in 1986, when planning began for the print version of the magazine. That version was published from 1987-1991 in the United States, with some limited international distribution. The advent of the Internet and related technologies has made it possible for Visibilities to be re-born--as a free publication with a new, international perspective. The original Visibilities began because, at the time, there was no quality publication for lesbians in the United States. We plan to make the on-line version equal in quality to the print version.
