              IUP Sports Medicine Department

Sports Medicine Facilities

Memorial Field House Sports Medicine Clinic

The Memorial Field House Sports Medicine Clinic is the center of the Sports Medicine Department.  All treatments and evaluations are performed in the Clinic.  Student-athletes have access to various electrical, thermal and hydrotherapy modalities.

Rehabilitation Center

The Sports Medicine Department has a separate rehabilitation facility used to help return the student-athletes to their highest level of performance after sustaining an injury.  The Sports Medicine Staff is continually adding and updating equipment to provide student-athletes with access to the best therapeutic exercise equipment.

Taping Room

The recently renovated taping room gives the student-athletes a separate facility for taping and game/practice preparation.

Hours of Operation

In general, the Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Morning hours are used for injury evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.  The afternoon hours are for pre-practice preparation and post-practice treatment.  The official hours of operation vary according to the schedule of the Certified Athletic Trainer respective to each sport.  Operating hours are posted outside of the ATR.
