IUP lost its regular season finale to Lock Haven by scores of 30-14, 30-21, 30-20 Saturday night at Memorial Field House. 

The match was the final one at home for seniors Trisha Gerus, Alicia Koches and Michelle Jones.  Whether or not it was their last match at IUP won't be known for another week.

IUP (16-13, 3-7 PSAC West) will have to wait until November 5 until it learns if it will compete in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional for the seventh straight year. 

IUP began the week ranked eighth in the region, with the top eight teams earning spots in the postseason.  Since that last ranking, IUP has a win over No. 3 Slippery Rock and Saturday's loss to No. 2 Lock Haven (27-5, 9-1 PSAC West).

Gerus had eight kills against the Bald Eagles, one more than Laura Robinette.  Krista Nordby led the defense with 15 kills, and Koches had 17 assists.
