IUP Takes Three of Four Matches at Ship Tournament

IUP won three of four matches at the Shippensburg Tournament, defeating Fairmont State, Ohio Valley and Davis & Elkins while dropping a match against Alderson-Broaddus.

IUP improved to 9-7 overall.  On Friday, IUP posted a 30-22, 30-18, 26-30, 30-23 win over Fairmont State before falling to Alderson-Broaddus by scores of 30-26, 23-30, 30-25, 30-27.

The tournament wrapped up on Saturday with IUP claiming a pair of 3-0 victories, downing Ohio Valley, 30-25, 30-17, 30-21, and Davis & Elkins, 30-28, 30-24, 30-18.

IUP returns to PSAC West play on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match at Lock Haven.
