IUP saw Lock Haven pull away late
in all three games in a 3-0 victory by the Eagles in a PSAC West match
Tuesday night.
Lock Haven is 16-4 overall and 4-1
in the PSAC West while IUP dropped to 9-8 and 1-4 in the division.
Laura
Robinette (pictured) led IUP in kills with 11 while adding five digs and
a pair of blocks. Michelle Jones and Trisha Gerus both had six
kills, and Jill Bixler contributed five.
Carri Cole led the defensive effort
with 16 digs, followed by Bixler with 10 and Krista Nordby with eight.
Alicia Koches had 26 assist and Autumn Burke had four blocks.
IUP plays three matches this
weekend at Wheeling, W.Va., taking on Mount Olive on Friday and Wheeling
Jesuit and West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.
