IUP Loses at California in PSAC West Match

IUP dropped a 3-0 decision at California Friday night, losing to the Vulcans by scores of 30-26, 30-25, 30-17.

California, ranked first in the Atlantic Region, improved to 25-4 overall and 6-2 in the PSAC West.  IUP is 15-12 and 2-6 in the division.

Trisha Gerus led IUP with 11 kills, one more than Michelle Jones.  Gerus also had five blocks and Alicia Koches had 27 assists.

IUP concludes the regular season next week with matches at Slippery Rock on Tuesday and home against Lock Haven on Saturday.
