PSAC Individual Championships -- April 30-May 1 -- Bloomsburg, Pa.

Singles
Yvonne Niederbracht won the championship in the singles draw, defeating 
top-seeded Jessica Bungo of Slippery Rock in the final by a score of 6-2, 
6-4.  Niederbracht entered the tournament seeded second in the 23-woman
field.

After earning a first round bye, Niederbracht defeated Shannon Rhodes of
East Stroudsburg (6-0, 6-2), Linda Escobedo of California (6-2, 6-4) and
Kerstin Kloeffer of Kutztown (6-2, 6-2) to advance to the finals.

Jackie Kulp was seeded eighth and also had a first round bye.  Kulp then
bested Kristen Jack of Clarion (6-0, 6-0) before losing to Bungo in the
semifinals by a 6-2, 6-0 decision.

Doubles
Niederbracht and Kulp were seeded second and had a first round bye.  The
duo defeated Escobedo and Olga Gonzalez of California, 8-1, to advance to
the semifinals and then moved on to the finals by default.  Niederbracht
and Kulp were defeated by Bungo and Ashley Michaux, 8-4, in the finals.
