concluded her outstanding college swimming career Saturday night with a
second place finish in the 100 freestyle at the NCAA Division II swim
meet in Indianapolis.

Plaxton was an 11-time
All-American covering three individual events while at IUP and was the
national runner-up three times. She was also second in the 100
freestyle last year as well as the 100 backstroke in 2004.
In addition to her swim
in the 100 freestyle on Saturday, Plaxton was also an All-American this
year in the 50 freestyle (sixth) and 100 backstroke (seventh).

his successful freshman campaign by taking 15th in the 200
backstroke on the final day of competition, covering the distance in a

meet.
Plaxton provided IUP with

women’s team standings. Glowiak scored 13 points, the 24th
highest total in the men’s standings.
