Shippensburg Edges IUP
in PSAC Contest

Lauren Bolis scored the only goal of the game early in the second 
half to give Shippensburg a 1-0 win over IUP in a PSAC contest.

The Lady Raiders are now 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC.  IUP 
dropped to 4-2 and 1-2 in conference play.  

IUP held a 12-10 advantage in shots but could not slip one past 
Shippensburg goalkeeper Meredith Yakscoe-Markle, who made eight 
saves.  Sarah Daw stopped seven shots in goal for the Indians.

Bolis broke a scoreless tie with 10:28 expired in the second half 
off an assist by Sheri Graybill.  IUP has been shut out in its 
last two games after starting the season with four straight wins.

IUP returns to action Saturday with a PSAC contest at Mansfield.
