Late Goal Gives Kutztown
PSAC Victory over IUP

Kelly Lau scored with just 2:09 remaining in the contest to
lift undefeated Kutztown to a 2-1 victory over IUP in a PSAC
contest Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Bears are now 9-0-2 overall and 5-0 in the PSAC
while IUP dropped to 5-4 and 2-4 in conference play.

The Indians got on the scoreboard first when Cora Roeder hit
the net on a pass from Meghan Jones with 30:00 left in the
first half.

IUP kept the lead until there was only 57 seconds left before
halftime when Mallary Kamen evened the score, with the assist
credited to Lauren Tatro.

Neither team was able to muster much of an offensive attack,
with both squads limited to six shot attempts.  Mandi Johnsen
registered four saves for Kutztown while Sarah Daw had two
for IUP.

IUP returns home for a non-conference game against Saint
Vincent on Monday at 4:00.
