IUP and Slippery Rock
Battle to Scoreless Tie

IUP and Slippery Rock battled through 120 minutes of action before the two
teams settled for a 0-0 tie Tuesday afternoon.

The tie enabled the Indians to snap a six-game losing streak.  IUP is now
3-6-1 overall and 0-5-1 in PSAC play.  Slippery Rock is 7-4-1 and 3-3-1 in
the conference.

Sarah Daw made 10 saves for IUP while Slippery Rock goalkeeper Amanda Wier
stopped eight IUP shots.

IUP returns home for a PSAC contest against Bloomsburg on Friday at 3:00.
