IUP Falls to Kutztown
in PSAC Opener

IUP lost its first match of the season, falling to Kutztown by a score of 1-0 on 
Saturday afternoon.  

The brings IUP’s overall record to 3-1 and 0-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic 
Conference competition.  Kutztown improves to 4-0-1 and 1-0 in the PSAC.

The game remained scoreless until midway through the second half when Kutztown 
scored the lone goal of the match.  With 19:34 left to play, Lauren Tatro found 
the back of the net on a pass from Chrissy Jack to give Kutztown the win.  

IUP goalie Sarah Daw faced eight shots and stopped six of them while Kutztown 
goalie Laura Alexander saw just five shots and stopped all five.   

IUP will be back in action Tuesday when they will host PSAC rival Lock Haven at 
4:00 on the field behind Miller Stadium.
