    Falce Scores Twice in IUP
    Shutout Win Over Edinboro

Erin Falce scored both goals in the first half, and the IUP
defense and goalkeeping made the lead hold up as the Indians
downed visiting Edinboro 2-0 in a PSAC contest Wednesday
    afternoon.

IUP improved to 7-4 overall and 3-4 in the PSAC while the
Fighting Scots are now 8-5-1 and 3-3-1 in conference play.

Falce got IUP on the scoreboard just 6:41 into the game when
she took a corner kick from Emily Thomas and put the ball in
    the back of the net.

IUP made it 2-0 with a little more than two minutes to go
before halftime when Falce again scored on a corner kick,
    this time from Shanelle Peters.

Sarah Daw registered 11 saves in goal for the Indians while
her Edinboro counterpart, Tricia Chilcott, recorded seven
saves. IUP held a narrow 14-13 advantage in shots.

IUP is off until next Tuesday when the Indians host Slippery
Rock in another PSAC game beginning at 4:00.
