Kim Kowalski scored her second goal of the game with 4:09 remaining in the second overtime period to give IUP a 3-2 victory over Edinboro in a makeup of a game postponed by lightning on September 26.

The Crimson Hawks are 7-4 and 3-3 in the PSAC West and moved into third place in the division with nine points.  Slippery Rock (6-0-1) leads with 19 points, followed by Edinboro (3-2-2) with 11.  Three points are awarded for a win and one for a tie.

With the score tied at 2 in the second overtime, Kowalski took a crossing pass from Sarah Romasco and netted the goal that enabled IUP to avenge a 2-1 loss to Edinboro at home on August 29.

Edinboro took a 1-0 lead with 15:49 left in the half on a goal by Kara Ciacchini.  Two minutes later, IUP evened the contest on a direct kick by Romasco, her team-leading ninth goal of the season.
