IUP erased a 2-0 deficit by scoring four goals in
the second half, beating California by a score of 4-2 in a PSAC West
soccer match Sunday.
Sarah
Romasco scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute, her
team-leading fifth of the season, as IUP moved to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in
the PSAC West. California is 2-2 and 0-2 in the division.
California’s Lindsey Deaner scored the opening goal
of the game in the fourth minute, and Lauren McCutcheon added a goal in
the 44th minute for a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Erin Falce (pictured, above) opened IUP’s scoring
in the 50th minute on a pass from Romasco. Crystal Header took a

goalkeeper Erin Cook to tie the game.
Falce delivered a pass to Romasco for the
game-winning goal, and Rayannin Schreiner scored an unassisted goal to

her 55th on Sunday, and points with 137.
Heder has four goals on the season and 34 in her
career, two shy of Amy Peterson for second behind Falce.

managed just six shots, all coming in the first half. April
