Falce Continues Climb
Up School Record Book in IUP Victory Over Seton Hill
Erin Falce scored two goals and added two assists to lead IUP to its
seventh win in eight games this season, a 5-0 shutout victory over Seton
Hill.
Falce now has 14 goals and six assists this season for a total of 34
points. She is tied for third in single season goals scored, tied
for second in assists and fourth in points.
In her career, Falce moved into a tie for third with 28 goals and 69
points and has sole possession of third place with 13 assists.
Lisa Castelli added a goal and an assist. Crystal Heder scored
her eighth goal of the season, giving IUP a 1-0 lead just seven minutes
into the contest.
Leading 3-0 at halftime, the Indians blew the game open when Jenna
Witkowski and Falce added goals during the second half.
Cora Roeder and Selena Stern also contributed assists for IUP.
Sarah Daw played the first 53 minutes in goal and made five saves while
Becky Dillard had four saves in 37 minutes of playing time.
Jamie Hickton made five saves for Seton Hill, which fell to 2-5 on
the year.
IUP returns to PSAC play on Wednesday with a 5:00 contest at Clarion.
