Behind individual medalist Cory Stelick, IUP won
its opening golf tournament of the fall, a four-shot victory at the
Burger King/Ohio Valley Invitational in Mineral Wells, W.Va.
IUP had a team score of 575, four ahead of Ohio
Valley, the host school. Charleston was another shot back at 580.
IUP easily outdistanced PSAC rivals Millersville (595) and Clarion

A total of 18 teams and 101 players competed,
making it the largest tournament this year in the state of West
Virginia.
Stelick, an all-region performer last spring, had
a 4-under par score of 138 on the par 71 Woodridge Plantation course, a
score that included a 68 on Saturday. He finished three shots

at even par 142 to tie for third place. Other IUP players were Nic
Milito (tied for 11th, 146), Ryan Kennedy (tied for 23rd, 148), Cody
