Scheduled Downtime Archive

• 06-APR-2006: The iup.edu e-mail servers will be unavailable from 2:30am to 7am on Thursday, April 6, 2006. This extended scheduled maintenance window is necessary to perform a hardware upgrade.
• 13-NOV-2004: The Banner system (aka URSA) and all related systems will be unavailable from 2AM - noon on Saturday 13-NOV-2004 to complete a Banner software upgrade.
• 14-MAY-2004: Student Home Directories will be unavailable Friday 14-MAY-2004 through Sunday 16-MAY-2004. See the Home Directory Space Increase Notice for additional information.
• 13-MAR-2004: IUP E-mail services will be unavailable on Saturday 13-MAR-2004 from 9AM until 5PM in order to perform a server software upgrade
• 21-FEB-2004: The Banner system (aka URSA) and all related systems will be unavailable from 2AM on Saturday 21-FEB-2004 until 8AM on Sunday 22-FEB-2004 to complete a database software upgrade.
• 17-MAY-2003: The Banner system (aka URSA) and all related systems will be unavailable from 2AM - noon on Saturday 17-MAY-2003 to complete a Banner software upgrade.
• 21-JUN-2003: The Banner system (aka URSA) and all related systems will be unavailable from 2AM on Saturday 21-JUN-2003 until 8AM on Sunday 22-JUN-2003 to complete a database software upgrade.
• The Banner system (aka URSA) will be unavailable from 2AM - noon on Saturday 1-MAR-2003 to complete a software upgrade.
• 4-JAN-2003 Off Campus Access: IUP connectivity to or from off-campus locations including the Internet and other SSHE locations will be unavailable on Saturday 4-JAN-2003 from 1AM to 5AM for circuit maintenance.
• The Banner system (aka URSA) will be unavailable from 2AM - 5PM on Saturday 23-NOV-2002 to complete a software upgrade.
• The Banner system (aka URSA) will be unavailable on Saturday 21-SEP-2002 from 8AM to 5PM to complete a software upgrade
• The Banner system (aka URSA) will be unavailable from 7AM to 4PM on Saturday 22-JUN-2002 for server maintenance.
• The Banner system (aka URSA) will be unavailable on Sat. Nov. 16 from approx. 8-9:30 a.m. so that a software upgrade can be performed.
• The Banner system will be unavailable Saturday 9-22-01 8AM to 9-24-01 8AM to upgrade to Banner version 5. (Note: The system was available by 1PM on 9-22)
• The Banner system will be unavailable 12-8-00 5PM to 12-11-00 8AM to upgrade the Banner database.
• The Banner system will be unavailable 8-7-00 5PM to 8-8-00 8AM to upgrade to Banner version 4.2.
• The Banner system will be unavailable 5-19-00 4PM to 5-22-00 8AM to upgrade to Banner version 4.
• The Banner system will be unavailable 1-28-00 8PM to 1-30-00 8PM for hardware maintenance.
• All TSC systems will be down 5/22/99 and 5/23/99 during the annual university steam and power outages
• SSHEnet/Internet Connectivity may be un-available 5/21/99 from midnight to 3am due to SSHEnet Maintenance at the Network Operations Center at West Chester.
