The Source - Student Handbook 2008-2009

It is my pleasure to welcome each of you to our campus community.  To our first-year students, I commend you for choosing higher education as your passport to your future.  To our returning and transfer students, I congratulate you on your success and trust that you are looking forward to taking another productive step toward attaining your educational goals.

You are the reason we are here.  IUP's success depends upon your success.  So that your collegiate experience is the best it can be, this student handbook, The Source, provides one easily accessible location for information essential to you.  Not only does The Source contain information regarding IUP policies and procedures, but it also offers helpful information about the university services, activities, and the Indiana community.  In addition, IUP's Civility Statement and our statement of student rights and responsibilities provide the framework for your role as an IUP citizen and a member of our IUP family.

Thank you for accessing The Source and familiarizing yourself with its contents so that you take advantage of everything IUP has to offer.  If you have questions for which you cannot find answers, call my office at 724-357-4040 or e-mail to IUP-HAWKS@iup.edu.

Best wishes for a prosperous year!

- Dr. Rhonda H. Luckey
Vice President for Student Affairs
