The Student Employment Center provides access to students seeking part-time and/or summer employment for both off-campus and on-campus employment opportunities.  The purpose of this program is to facilitate contact between the local business community, seasonal employers, on-campus departmental offices and talented college students who are interested in working while attending classes.  There is no fee to the employer or to the student.

  • A listing of available positions can be found posted in an employment binder
located in the Student Employment Center, posted on the bulletin board located
outside of the office, or by accessing the Student Employment Center's website at
    www.iup.edu/sec.
  • If you qualify for the federal work-study program, you can gain practical work
experience related to your major by working at an off-campus location. Inquire
about this service in the Office for Career Services, 302 Pratt Hall, (724)
    357-2235.  Contact:  Diane Stipcak
  • Eligibility for the federal work-study program is determined based upon financial need. All inquiries about this program should be directed to the Financial Aid Office, Clark Hall, (724) 357-2218. Students who do not demonstrate financial need may be employed under university employment.
