Pennsylvania National Guard Educational Assistance Program (EAP)
The Educational Assistance Program has been established for members of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Students who make a commitment to serve in the Pennsylvania National Guard for six years may be eligible to receive a grant on a full- or part-time basis. If a student fails to fulfill his/her service commitment, any EAP grants which were previously received will be converted to loans and must be repaid with a seven-percent fixed annual interest rate. Applications and information are available from the individual's unit of assignment, the recruiting officer, or the Pennsylvania National Guard at 717-861-8530.
