Schedule Changes (Drop/Add)
The university registration system is characterized as one of continuous registration, using either TELREG (telephone registration) or TERMREG
(terminal registration). From the student's initial registration time for a given semester until the beginning of classes for the semester
(except for specified restricted times), a student may modify his/her schedule to the extent that classes are available or permission to register for a restricted section has been granted and entered into the
computer system. Deadlines for the opportunity to drop or add sections are published in the schedule of classes bulletin
every semester. Each student is responsible for making the appropriate computer transactions to ensure schedule accuracy.
Note particularly that while the department may enter permission to register for a section, the actual registration transaction
must be entered by the student. The schedule of classes information includes specific directions for registration and
modification for students.
