The Advising and Testing Center provides a variety of services to IUP students and faculty. The center runs the summer orientation program, offers career planning classes and computer‑assisted career counseling to undecided majors, co‑conducts registration for January freshmen and branch campus students, processes undergraduate total university withdrawals, serves the needs of students with disabilities, and assists in providing advising information to students and advisors.

Services for Students with Disabilities

Disability Support Services (a unit of the Advising and Testing Center) is the primary agent for the provision of access for IUP students with physical, learning, and other disabilities. Students with disabilities are urged to register with the office. Services provided may include, but are not limited to, early registration; assistance in locating accessible housing; equipment loan; test proctoring and reading; notetaking; recording of books; NCR paper; liaison with faculty, OVR, and BVS; and general advising and counseling. Further information may be obtained in 106 Pratt Hall or by calling 724-357‑4067 (V/TD).
