(2) Eligibility for student teaching and certification in secondary biology education requires a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and a grade of C or better in all biology courses. The program in secondary biology education requires a cumulative GPA of 2.75 for all majors.
(3) No more than 6sh from Independent Study (BIOL 482), Special Topics (BIOL 481), Internship (BIOL 493) applies to major: excess applied as free electives
(4) The two-semester (six-credit) sequence of BIOC 301-BIOC 302 can be substituted for CHEM 351 to meet the biochemistry requirement.
