Liberal Studies Offerings

The Philosophy program’s Liberal Studies courses are all introductory in nature; none of them presupposes any philosophical background. The student may choose from the following PHIL 101: Informal Logic; PHIL 120: Introduction to Philosophy; PHIL 221: Introduction to Symbolic Logic; PHIL 222: Ethics; PHIL 223: Philosophy of Art.
