Junior-Year Review
All students who are candidates for a degree offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences must meet with their faculty advisors and complete a junior-year review of their academic record upon earning 72 semester hours. The purpose of the review is to verify that, by the planned graduate date, the student’s graduation requirements will have been met. Completed junior-year review reports must be approved by the department chairperson and the associate dean. Juniors who are eligible for the review will not be permitted to register without completing this checkout.
It remains the student’s responsibility to complete a form to apply for graduation and submit it to the department chairperson early in the term prior to graduation. Failure to meet the graduation application deadline may result in a delay in the student’s graduation.
