Designed to promote a better understanding of the principles of psychology governing human behavior, with particular emphasis on their relation to learner, learning process, and learning situation in an educational environment.

EDSP 281 Special Topics

Special topics are offered on an experimental or temporary basis to explore topics that are not included in the established curriculum. Designed to acquaint students with major methods and techniques of evaluation used to assess and report growth, development, and academic achievement of individuals in an educational environment. Includes interpretation of standardized test information.

EDSP 482 Independent Study

Prerequisite: Prior approval through advisor, faculty member, department chairperson, dean, and Provost’s Office
Students with interest in independent study of a topic not offered in the curriculum may propose a plan of study in conjunction with a faculty member. Approval is based on academic appropriateness and availability of resources.
