 Cort
“Grinny” Templin ’85
and his wife, Laurie Lammert Templin ’82, live in St. Charles, Mo.,
with their sons, Steel and Evan. After twenty years of
service in transportation operations at Walt Disney World, Cort is now general
manager of the
NASCAR Speedpark at the St. Louis Mills Mall. Laurie was a restaurant
manager at Disney for twelve years, reached her pinnacle of work stress,
and decided that was enough. She spent her last year in Florida working as
a supervisor for Valencia Institute, the corporate and continuing
education branch of Valencia Community College, and joined Cort in St.
Louis. They were
married at the city’s historic Union Station on August 7, 2004. |

“In case you’re wondering, Cort does not play the piano, but our wedding
photographer thought it was the perfect photo op…” said Laurie.
