A group of friends from
IUP celebrated their thirty-fifth reunion on a Carnival cruise to coastal
Canada in August of 2006.
All of the guys in the
picture were buddies from Rooney, Oakland, and Whitmyre halls in the late
60s and early 70s, said Dave Fiscus. Three of them married fellow IUP
grads. The group reunited annually each summer at Mack Park for a day-long
picnic with kids until their twentieth reunion, when it was changed to
every five years. To celebrate their thirty-fifth reunion, they decided to
spend some quality time renewing those old friendships that truly are
lifelong.
