If you don't know us, we encourage you to become
acquainted. Education is our priority.
We believe we
offer the best of all worlds here at IUP--a wide variety
of academic, extracurricular, cocurricular, and
recreational experiences at a price that is affordable.
We offer meaningful experiences, life-changing for some,
on a campus that our own students have referred to as
"mesmerizing." We want
students to encounter, experiment, sample, and seize
opportunities. Yet, we also understand our role in the
lives of all Pennsylvanians.
Acclaimed in Leading
Guidebooks
While we are committed to providing our students with a well-rounded
education that cuts across many disciplines, we are proud of the
accomplishments of our Eberly College of Business and Information
Technology, which appears in the 2005 edition of the Princeton Review's
Best 143 Business Schools.
IUP has appeared in The Unofficial,
Unbiased Insider’s
Guide to the 331 Most Interesting Colleges published by Kaplan
Publishing, the organization that publishes several Scholastic Aptitude Test
workbooks and guides. The authors explain that institutions are chosen as a
result of inside information collected from guidance counselors and
students, by institutional data and selectivity and by current events at
each college, not “happy-faces hype on college websites and viewbooks.” No
advertising dollars are accepted by the publication.
