Parking Spaces In Parking Garage Offered For Sale

A total of 225 spaces in the IUP Parking Garage, located off Grant Street, will be available for rent to members of the IUP community – students, faculty, administrators and staff.

These spaces, located on decks three and four of the garage.

Persons interesting in renting a space are asked to E-MAIL their name, home phone number, permanent address and e-mail address to University Police Parking Services at parking-services@iup.edu.  You will be placed on the wait list for a space to become available.

In order to distribute the spaces fairly, if applications outnumber the number of available rental spots, those not selected for a space will be added to the waiting list. Those persons successful in securing rental spaces will be notified by e-mail.

These 225 spaces also will be available for rent by the semester (if available) or yearly.

Cost for one semester is $212; cost for both Fall and Spring semesters (which includes summer sessions) is $424.

Normally a person who rents a space for the first time will receive a space on the uncovered top deck. That person's name is placed in order of rental date. As spaces open up under cover those who have spaces on the top deck are rotated down to the covered spaces.

Anyone who rents a space may retain that space for as long as they choose.
