The crime rate is computed as follows: The number of reported crimes in each category is divided by the gross number of full-time equivalent (FTE) students and employees on the Punxsutawney Campus. (For example in 2004, the Punxsutawney Campus had 313 FTE students and employees. Twenty three crimes of Liquor Law Violations were reported, and thus, the crime rate is calculated as follows: 23 crimes divided by 313 FTE=.0734 cases per FTE.

The following statistics are provided in compliance with Act 1988-73, the College and University Security Information Act, and the Higher Education Amendments of 1992.
