The University Police Department employs 21 full-time, commissioned Police Officers to provide Police protection to the entire University 24 hours a day. Within the department, we have a criminal investigations unit, that provides two full-time investigators and a crime prevention unit that provides full-time officers who dedicate their shifts to patrolling inside the residence halls and providing crime prevention programs as requested.
