How do I get my SAP Finance account?

Send a request to sap-finance-security@iup.edu to obtain an SAP Finance account.  Those who attend SAP Finance training will have an account created for them prior to the training.

What if I do not have SAP installed on my PC?

If SAP does not appear to be installed on the PC in your office, you will need to contact the person or group responsible for providing your computing support.  Those in administrative offices should contact the Administrative Help Desk at admin-helpdesk@iup.edu or 7-1267.  Those in academic departments should contact the College Technology Manager for the college.  See www.iup.edu/ats/people for a list of College Technology Managers and their contact information.

Who do I call if I am having trouble entering my Internal Stores Reservation?

Can we pick up our order?

Yes, orders can be picked up at Robertshaw.  Your reservation must be entered prior to the pick up.  We ask that you enter the reservation, call us with the Reservation Number and we will let you know when the order will be ready for pick up.

Is there a Catalog of items in the Central Storeroom?

        Use SAP transaction code MM60.  See the manual located at www.iup.edu/adminfinance/services/purchasing/central.shtm.

What do I do if there is a charge to my budget from the Storeroom that is not mine?

        Call the Central Storeroom Helpdesk at 724-357-4074.

While trying to “search” for a material number, I am being told that the material is not an IUP material.

If you are using the “search” transaction within MB21, be sure that you have chosen the search tab “Plant Materials by Description”.  You can also use the materials list located within transaction MM60.

How can I see if my order has been entered correctly?

Use SAP transaction code MB23 to display your reservation.

I forgot to write my reservation number down, how can I find out what it is?

Use SAP transaction code MB23, choose the match code icon located next to the field you would enter your reservation number.  Enter the cost center in which your order was to be charged.  This will give you any reservations that have not yet been issued by the storeroom.  If this does not work for you; call the Central Storeroom Helpdesk at 724-357-4074.
