a member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority.
The death of any member of our community is a tragedy that
saddens us all. We are a campus family whose welfare and
future are united across all departments, units, divisions
and disciplines.
Our most immediate responsibility is to support one
another and Sara’s family and friends as we mourn this
loss together.
Support is available to students through the Center for
Counseling and Psychological Services.
We will work with Sara’s family and friends in the
creation of an appropriate university memorial service at
a later date.
The Indiana County Coroner has announced that Sara’s cause
of death was meningococcal meningitis.
