• Who can help me sort through all my options?!

Don't panic.  It's O.K. to be struggling with the process of choosing a major.  It might even be an advantage.  People who decide too quickly, without considering all their options, sometimes quit exploring too early and miss out on the best.  With a four-year college plan, you have time to learn, think, change your mind, prepare, and plan.  Take a moment to look over a few common myths related to the search for a major.

Accept that you're undecided and realize that you are not the only one.
Begin exploring career options by talking to people in fields you are interested in.
Continue exploring career options at IUP by enrolling in Career Exploration course, seeing a career counselor, or using the resources at the Career Exploration Center.
Dedicate yourself to choosing a major and don't give up until you've explored all your options.
