A living-learning community consists of students who live in a
specially-themed residence hall (or an intentionally clustered portion of the
hall), and participate in academically and intellectually engaging learning
activities designed specifically for them. The philosophy supporting
living-learning is grounded in the belief that learning is an active and dynamic
process that occurs both within and outside the classroom.
