The Liberal Studies Office frequently sponsors or co-sponsors co-curricular and extracurricular events on campus. It also provides faculty development opportunities through a variety of workshops. Workshops on the following topics have been held: critical thinking, writing-across-the-curriculum, synthesis courses, diversity, research writing, cooperative learning. All faculty are informed about these workshops, and all IUP faculty are welcome to attend. Petition for an Exception to a Liberal Studies Requirement.
