    Here are a few scholarships for Study Abroad. Students can obtain information and apply independently.

    IUP SCHOLARSHIPS


    Carone Scholarship

    • Eligibility: IUP students, completed freshman year, all study abroad sites
    • Amount: varies

    • Eligibility: IUP students, completed 48 credits, going to Italy, Portugal or Spain

    • Eligibility: IUP students, US citizen, going to Western Europe (especially, Italy, Germany, Austria or Switzerland)

    • Eligibility: U.S. Citizen, Permanent resident, Undergraduate, 1st visit to Asia
    • Amount: $3,000/summer; $5,000/semester; $7,000/year

    ISEP Scholarships (Korea, Thailand, Germany, France)

    Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship

    • Eligibility: Qualified students accepts by Japanese universities or graduate schools under the student exchange agreement on a short-term basis from about three months to one year.
    • Amount: Monthly stipend: ¥80,000 per month (up to 12 months), Relocation allowance:  ¥150,000 (upon arrival only)
    • Rank: Competitive

    Marshall Scholarship

    • Eligibility: Open only to U.S. Citizens who hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. with a minimum GPA of 3.7.
    • Amount: University fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, these grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the U.S. and where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse.

    NSEP (National Security Education Program) David L. Boren

    • Eligibility: for study abroad in all countries except Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; U.S. Citizen, and Undergraduate
    • Amount: $10,000/ semester or $20,000/year
    • Rank: Competitive
