Retirement Indiana University of Pennsylvania employees have a choice between 3 retirement plans, The Alternative Retirement Plan, Public School Employees Retirement Plan, and State Employees Retirement Plan. Retirement Plans - General Information Retirement Program Election Form Comparison of Retirement Plans ARP Vendor Allocation Change Form Alternative Retirement Plan - Summary Plan Description Public School Employees Retirement State Employees Retirement System Supplemental Retirement Accounts The State System offers two supplemental retirement plans to help you save additional money for your retirement - a Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan (403(b)) and a Deferred Compensation Plan (457). TSA/Deferred Compensation Comparison Tax Shelter Annuity Plan Tax sheltered annuity (TSA) plans are available to State System employees under Section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. This program allows employees to contribute to a long-term savings plan on a pre-tax basis up to amounts allowed by the IRS. Contact the Payroll Office (724) 357-2510 to enroll in a TSA plan. TSA Salary Reduction Agreement Deferred Compensation Plan The State System participates in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Deferred Compensation Plan currently administered through Great West. This program allows employees to contribute to a long-term savings plan on a pre-tax basis up to amounts allowed by the IRS.
