Looking up your Network account
information
Finding
your username and initial password
Student
Computing Account information is obtained from the same system that is used to
complete Registration and Scheduling. Usernames for new students are
generated overnight upon completion of the registration process.
To
obtain account information:
· Go to the URSA www page (www.iup.edu/ursa).

Select Secured Access
·
Enter ID and PIN # · Select Personal Information and Surveys · Select Display Display IUP Computer Account Information for Students
The following information will be displayed:
Please
write down the above information, as you will need all of it to login to
portions of the IUP Systems. When you have recorded this
information, select the Exit option at the top of the form.
Please note: Your "Intitial IUP Computing Account Information" will be used for both the Network and E-Mail (IUP.EDU) systems. Once you change the initial Computing Password for each system, your password may end up being different for each system. Please choose passwords that are easy for you to remember yet secure from others. Note on Network Access: You will be asked to change your Network password the first time that you login to the network with your Initial Computing Password (shown above). You will also need to change it to view any IUP Only sites. To change your password over the web go to: https://old.www.iup.edu/netpwdchg/. Note on E-Mail (IUP.EDU) access: you will need to go to http://imail.iup.edu to use your email. Enter your IUP Computer Username and password. Click on the Settings button to change your password.
