Having trouble loading pages in Internet Explorer?
Download the
Firefox web browser. It's more secure and blocks popups
better than Internet Explorer. Don't forget to setup the
proxy server for Firefox. |

run slow and do you get a lot of pop-up adds? You may have
spyware installed on your PC. Download, install and run
Ad-aware and/or
SpyBot to remove it.
You may also have unwanted BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) that could be
causing popups. Download
BHODemon to remove these. |

Protect
Yourself From Viruses! Install McAfee Virus Protection.
Click here to download
it. Its free for IUP students. You'll need to enter your network
username, password and domain name to download it. After
downloading and installing McAfee, go to
McAfee's website and download the latest SuperDat file to catch the
latest viruses. Scroll down the
web
page to find the right file for your computer. If you have
Norton virus protection install on your PC you MUST REMOVE IT BEFORE YOU
INSTALL MCAFEE. Click here

It's a firewall program and is free for personal use.
Another good free, personal firewall is
