Gamerooms
Gamerooms are located in the following residential buildings: Elkin, Esch,
Lawrence, McCarthy, Scranton, Shafer, Wallace and Whitmyre. These facilities are typically equipped with pool tables,
air hockey tables, fooseball games and ping pong tables. Game room equipment
(i.e., pool cues, pool balls, triangles, chalk and ping pong paddles) may
be signed out through the building office.

Laundry Facilities
All residential buildings contain laundry
facilities with I-Card operated Speed Queen washers and dryers. The cost per
washer load is currently $1.25 and $1.25 per dryer, with one hour of dry time.Back>
 Residential Computing Centers (RCCs)
Residential Computing Centers are computer
labs provided by the Office of Housing and Residence Life for use by residential
students. These labs are located in Scranton, Elkin, Esch/Wallace,
Shafer, and McCarthy Halls and provide modern personal computers connected
to the University's computer services. PC's in RCCs
are equipped with Microsoft Office 2003 and Internet Explorer. All labs are
open 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Note: The Suites on Grant will have 2 computer labs each with 12
computers.

Special Facilities
1. Scranton Dance Studio - This room is equipped with a special
hardwood floor, floor to ceiling mirrors and wall and ballet bars. The
studio is climate controlled by air conditioning. These facilities are available for use by residents of the building.

* The dance studio closes at quiet hours each night. (Sunday-Thursday
10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 12 midnight)

3. Music Modules - Elkin, Whitmyre, Scranton, and Lawrence.

TV Lounges
TV lounges are located in all residence halls. All TV lounges
contain large screen television sets which are hooked up to IUP's cable
system.

Study/Social Lounges
The majority of residence halls have lounges on each floor. Each lounge
is furnished with a combination of tables/chairs, study carrels, sofas
and loveseats, thus providing an opportunity for residents to either study
or socialize. Back>
Vending Machines
All residence halls, as well as Campus Towers and University Towers
have vending machines which contain a variety of snack and soft drink products.
Most vending machines are equipped to accept either cash or an I-Card.
