Summer Honors Program
for High School Students
July 12th - July 25th, 2009
The Robert E. Cook Honors College Summer Program is a place where talented high school students like you from across the country come together for intensive academic exploration and a glimpse
of college life.
Discover what it’s like to live and learn on a college campus. Our counselors-in-residence make living in a single gender wing of Whitmyre Hall a fun, but safe experience. You will live and learn with a community of scholars. After each day’s classes, you will experience college social life in a variety of evening activities.
Count on your classes to be dynamic and interactive. Experienced full-time IUP professors will guide your explorations and help you get a sense of what college will be like.
**APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENSION**
End of the year activities put increasing pressure on students and families as they struggle to get it all done. AP Testing, high school graduation and finals have, by necessity, become the focus for many of our SHP applicants, and rightly so. To help alleviate some of this pressure, we are extending our 2009 SHP application deadline from June 1 to Jun 15, 2009. We encourage all applicants to get in touch with us to let us know where they are in the process as the deadline draws closer. Please feel free to contact us with questions regarding the submission of SHP applications.
