You MUST have TB testing within 3 months in order for our physician to sign the PDE338G form stating you are “free from Tuberculosis”.

TB testing is done in clinics several times during each semester from 3-5pm.  It involves two visits; one for administration of the test, and a second visit 48 hrs later for the reading.  (If you do not return within 48-72 hours, your test is void and you must repeat the steps.)

If you come during a clinic, there is SIGNIFICANTLY LESS WAITING.

If you arrive as a walk-in for TB testing (not a TB clinic time), you will wait with other walk-in patients and you may be charged an additional fee.

SPRING 2008 TB test clinics

TB testing can NOT be given on a Thursday at Pechan.  Tests given on Friday must be read Monday or will be void.

The health center does not bill or participate with any insurance plans.

There is a $30 charge for the PDE physical (does not include TB testing) regardless of health fee status.  It is billed through IUP Accounts Receivable.  No appointment is needed.

TB tests during the TB clinics are free with Health Fee A. The cost is $15 for Fee B.

You should make a copy of your completed PDE form for your records since you receive the original and the health center does not keep a copy.

                Speech and Hearing evaluations are done in 263 Davis Hall.
