Patient care hours are Monday through Friday from 9am until 4pm

For emergency care when we are not open, go to Indiana Regional Medical Center's emergency department, or call 911

(9-911 if on campus).  There is a blue emergency phone on the side of the health center building.

 

Pechan Health Center Mission Statement

Pechan Health Center is a proud member of the Student Affairs Division at IUP.  Our skilled, competent, caring health professionals provide patient education and medical services to students which are designed to improve their wellness and sustain their health. Our goal is to help students be successful in their academic endeavors.  As members of both the IUP and health care communities, the Health Service staff works collaboratively to identify and advocate for student needs and to provide appropriate high-quality, cost-effective responses.

REMEMBER TO ENTER YOUR EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION INTO URSA

IUP maintains an emergency response system to contact and alert students and all members of the University community to critical situations and to provide emergency response instructions.  Please take a minute to go into URSA and update your emergency contact information.  Once you log onto URSA, choose "Personal Information and Survey" and then "Student - Insert/Update Cell Phone and Emergency Contact Information."  Click on the "Insert New Record" button and fill in the fields as requested.

 Please insert a new record for yourself and an emergency contact person.  IUP will use the information ONLY in the event of an emergency.  Through a computerized system, you and your contact will be informed of the emergency via cell phone and/or home phone.

Remember to promptly update your emergency contact information in the event of any changes as they occur in the future.
