The 2006 Student Gift is a magnificent stepping
stone. This program allows students to join together to leave their
mark on IUP and to honor someone special.
Express your gratitude to someone who has had a positive
impact on your college life. Is it your best friend? Your favorite
professor? A parent or guardian? Would you like to say thanks for all they
have done for you?
- $10 acknowledges a special person
with a brief message in the window of the Co-op Book Store.
- $25 honor a person with a Shining
Star certificate sent by mail to the address you provide.
- $50 pays tribute to that person
with a bookplate in the library.

dedicates a tree in the IUP
Arboretum*
Notification will be sent to those you specify, acknowledging the impact
they have had on your life as a student at IUP.

Your 2006 Student Gift can
be given through credit card online or by check. When making your gift
on-line, please type “Student Gift” in the section titled Other. Under the
Specific Requests section type the name and address of the person to notify
along with a message of fifteen words or less.
You may choose to have your gift benefit the Eric Slebodnik Scholarship for
History or
another designation of your choice.

Eric Slebodnik
Memorial Scholarship for
History
Sgt. Eric Slebodnik, an IUP student, was killed in the line of duty in Iraq
in September, 2005. Eric touched many of us with his strong convictions,
morals, and friendships. Not so long ago, he was here among us, doing
everday things in the library, in the HUB, and in Wallace Hall – doing the
things we all do. Eric gave his life so others could enjoy similar freedoms.
Honor him with a gift to the Eric Slebodnik Memorial Scholarship for History and ensure
that generations of students are given the opportunity to experience IUP as
