Each
year, parents of IUP students make a difference in the experience of every IUP
student with their gift to the Annual Fund.
It’s true that tuition and state budget money do not cover all the needs of the
14,000 + students at IUP. Gifts from parents, friends, and alumni enhance the
students’ academic experience beyond what tuition and state budgets can provide.

-
Scholarship funds are built.
-
Library resources are improved.

Cogswell Hall has been newly renovated and transformed into an airy, updated
space more suitable to the level of instruction IUP musicians receive. With
firm footing in technology and industry trends as well as classical
instruction, IUP’s music department offers its students experimental
learning in many ways.
IUP is the only university in Pennsylvania or New York to be selected as a
regional training for WebCT, a program that develops academic courses for
Internet delivery. More than 200 on-campus courses incorporate Web
technology in course delivery and support.
More than 800 seats in various campus computer labs are available, with
24-hour computer labs available throughout campus.
IUP students are awarded over $1 million a year in scholarship funds from the
Foundation for IUP.

…and IUP is able to keep
pace with the future. The entire student experience is enhanced!
You can provide support
for these vital resources and let your student know that he or she is your
“Shining Star.” Acknowledge his special achievement, recognize her hard
work, or just let your student know you are thinking of them. We will send
the student you designate a “Shining Star” certificate.
You may also acknowledge
his or her efforts by placing a bookplate in a library book, or by
dedicating a tree in the IUP Arboretum.
You may designate your
gift to the Student Experience Fund for areas of greatest need.
Or you may want to
designate your gift for the Eric Slebodnik Memorial Scholarship for
History. Eric was an IUP student who was killed in the line of duty in
Iraq.
Please consider a gift to
the Parents Campaign. We all have a common goal for our children…an
outstanding education.
