TEXTBOOK  FOR

               GENERAL BIOLOGY  I & II

             The textbook currently in use for BIOL 103 & 104 during the 2007/2008  academic year is BIOLOGY, 9th edition by Sylvia S. Mader.

             This course is part of the university's Liberal Studies program and therefore, as mandated by the program, requires that a supplemental reading assignment beyond the textbook be included in the course.  This assignment will be chosen by the individual lecture or laboratory professors and assigned at the beginning of each semester.

              A laboratory manual is also required for the laboratory exercises.  The  General Biology Lab Manual is written by the General Biology faculty, and is available at PRO-PACKET.
