GS 338 GEOLOGY OF THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST

A Virtual Geology Field Trip!

From May 13 to May 31, 1999, a group of nine geology students from Indiana University of Pennsylvania traveled almost 7500 miles, studying the rocks, fossils, and landscape of the American Southwest. We shared our virtual field trip with fifth-grade students from Marion Center High School who sent along their mascot, Ms. Bumble Bee.  You can see where we went and what we studied by clicking on the basemap below, or you can look at our group picture tour or Ms. Bumble Bee's adventures.  We hope you enjoy sharing this virtual field trip with us!
